  • The Field Service Technician will be responsible for performing basic to advanced maintenance, new equipment installations, and troubleshooting actions either in the shop or field.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and troubleshoot multiplex pumps and it's auxiliary components for operation. Including but not limited to
  • electric motor and their variable speed drives (VSD), safety switches, flow meters, various valves, lubrication, and sump pumps.
  • Maintains a clean and well-organized work area and company truck.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience as a field service mechanic troubleshooting and repairing multiplex pumps and jet pump artificial lift systems.
  • Must have an acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
  • The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Employee must be able to regularly bend, stoop, crawl, lay down, twist and push.
  • Employee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to shoes/boots, hard hats, or respirators.
  • Participate with on-call rotation for the facility, as required by the business.

Nice to have

  • Basic understanding of downhole pumps and completions.
  • Working knowledge of multi-cylinder engines.
  • I&E (Instrumentation & Electrical) and Automation experience.
