Requirements
- You work well under pressure.
- Comfortable using technology, including basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- At least 2 consecutive years' experience of general insurance experience, including one year experience selling homeowners insurance.
- Level 2 Insurance license
- Completion of Autoplan Essentials
- Limited history of Errors & Omissions and in good standing with the Insurance Council of BC
- Bonus qualifications! CAIB certification, experience using ICBC systems, and ability to speak other languages aside from English.
- During a typical day, you will:
- Independently issue BCAA insurance products and services to current and new customers to meet their needs. You'll help them secure and/or renew their policies by reviewing current coverage and making recommendations.
- Collaborate with BCAA Support Teams and Underwriting to assess and recommend the right coverage for our customers.
- Achieve sales and productivity goals while upholding BCAA and AAA/CAA Member experience goals and underwriting guidelines.
- Lead customer accounts and documentation, from processing payments to issuing new, renewal, endorsements and cancellations for Insurance policies, BCAA Memberships, and additional products and services.
