About the role

ITnova is seeking an experienced H-1 A ircraft Mechanic (Flight Line - CDI) to join our aviation maintenance team supporting mission-critical rotary-wing aircraft operations. In this role, you will perform flight line aircraft maintenance while serving as a Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI), ensuring maintenance activities meet established quality, safety,
and operational standards. Responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance inspections, troubleshooting and repairing aircraft systems, performing quality inspections throughout the maintenance process, and providing technical guidance to maintenance personnel. Performs routine aircraft maintenance functions.
Performs preventive maintenance inspections on aircraft and aircraft systems and subsystems.
Performs initial, in-progress, and final quality technical inspections during maintenance, repair, modification, rework, and overhaul of aircraft, aircraft components, and component parts.
Performs troubleshooting, repair, modification, corrosion control, and preservation of aircraft and aircraft subsystems, including fuel, oil, and hydraulic systems.
Completes and maintains aircraft forms and records using OOMA.
In this role, you will perform flight line aircraft maintenance while serving as a Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI), ensuring maintenance activities meet established quality, safety, and operational standards.

Minimum of 5 years rotary-wing aviation experience.
Must be able to meet any Government and company licensing or qualification requirements for the position.
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a background check and obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, technical manuals, and use measuring instruments, gauges, tools, and test equipment.
Must demonstrate operational knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, engines, and component parts.
Must have knowledge of the proper use of hand tools in aircraft maintenance.
Must be able to read and write, interpret, and comply with aircraft maintenance procedures, manuals, specifications, directives, guides, and forms used on the job.
Operates aircraft towing equipment in towing operations, as required, and maintains familiarity with related support systems.
Performs quality technical inspection of aircraft, aircraft components, parts, repairs, and systems, including avionics, electrical, instrument, and armament systems, as required by functional assignment.
