About the role
- Work Environment This job operates in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day ensuring team has clear shift plans at least 24 hours prior to the new shift.
- Ensure the team is achieving desired short-term goals and maintain team scorecards for all areas of responsibility.
- Work with business partners to resolve issues such as production accounting, quality/reliability concerns, production planning, and schedule changes.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least 2 years of manufacturing leadership required
- The employee frequently is required to stand
- The employee is occasionally required to sit
Skills
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment desired.
- This job operates in a manufacturing environment.
- The noise level in the work environment and manufacturing sites can be loud.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- May require use of equipment requiring certification before use.
