About the role

What this Job Entails: The Project & Program Management role is responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of lab operations projects from initiation to delivery.

Update and maintain lab inventory databases
Maintain various ticketing systems with current project status
Manages multiple, cross-functional and technical network deployment projects
Partner with functional teams during initiation, plan, design, procurement, deployment, and post deployment phases
Engage in creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation including schedules, reviews, process documents, risk analysis, etc.
Be a point of contact for vendor partners and internal stakeholders
Coordinate and drive regularly scheduled meetings with core teams
Take an active role in evaluation of post project results against metrics; recommend or implement changes to improve delivery practices/processes

Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 2 to 5 years' related experience and/or training
2 to 5 years of project management experience in a high-pressure, and fast-paced environment, preferably supporting data centers or network hardware
Other duties as required.

Various certifications (PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PPM, CPD, CPMP, etc.)
Understanding of the OSI model

The Project & Program Management role is responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of lab operations projects from initiation to delivery.
Prior experience with datacenter, enterprise, servers, storage, and networking equipment is preferred.
Projects may vary in number, size and complexity.

Solid understanding of layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts
Hands-on experience with configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining IP networks
Understanding of fiber optics and optical networking and related components
Familiarity with key optical technologies
2+ years of experience with data center lifecycles and/or large-scale networks
Builds productive internal and external working relationships
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, documentation)
Ability to work on multiple projects and assignments concurrently
Self-starter who is able to quickly learn new tools and gain familiarity with new processes and technologies with minimal assistance
Experience creating spreadsheets and project/process documentation
Willingness to work across multiple North American time zones (remotely or from the local client office)

$66,120.00 - $104,400.00 USD (Salary)
Further, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position.
