About the role
- Performs a variety of routine and/or complex laboratory procedures on clinical research specimens; displays a mastery of laboratory techniques, principles, and instrumentation; correlates data required to provide quality information used by physician in the research and development of clinical processes.
Responsibilities
- Performs laboratory testing on specimens according to departmental protocol while complying with hospital and department policies regarding safety and infection control. Displays mastery of laboratory techniques, principles, and instrumentation. (40%)
- Independently performs all tasks related to the execution of research as defined by the physician/investigator. (20%)
- Operates, calibrates, checks, and maintains instrumentation. (20%)
Requirements
- Experience with computer software programs
- 0-1 years' experience in a research laboratory environment

- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or related science
