About the role
- ABOUT THE JOB The ACLU seeks applicants for the full -time position of Confidential Assistant to the ACLU President to serve a two-year, term-limited role supporting the ACLU President who chairs the ACLU Board of Directors.
- T his role is eligible for remote work based out of a United States location.
- The President serves as a spokesperson and a public leader of the National ACLU.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day, this includes providing one-on-one support and serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the office of the ACLU President.
- Occasionally moves or transports materials (e.g., documents and meeting supplies) up to 25 pounds to and from meeting sites.
- Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the President and Executive department at the National organization, as well as other internal departments in a manner that maintains credibility, trust, and support with ACLU senior leadership
- Support the building of relationships crucial to the success of the organization, Board of Directors, and President's office
