About the role
- As a member of the Johnson Controls Future Leaders Internship Program, you will learn to use your valuable skill set, knowledge, and passion to excel in a dynamic and competitive global environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage materials development room for Controls Engineering.
- Receive, inventory, track, kit, and label development materials for engineering builds, testing, and prototyping.
- Manage NPI part material storage and movement.
- Support and maintain NPI material data, through excel queries, pivot tables and data base creations
- Places orders, inventories engineering experimental material to support New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Manage part movement between NPI build sites to support scheduled builds.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an 4 year college
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or Business
- Must have demonstrated computer skills, including use of Microsoft Excel
Nice to have
- High attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to change
- Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
