About the role

  • As a member of the Johnson Controls Future Leaders Internship Program, you will learn to use your valuable skill set, knowledge, and passion to excel in a dynamic and competitive global environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage materials development room for Controls Engineering.
  • Receive, inventory, track, kit, and label development materials for engineering builds, testing, and prototyping.
  • Manage NPI part material storage and movement.
  • Support and maintain NPI material data, through excel queries, pivot tables and data base creations
  • Places orders, inventories engineering experimental material to support New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Manage part movement between NPI build sites to support scheduled builds.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an 4 year college
  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or Business
  • Must have demonstrated computer skills, including use of Microsoft Excel

  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to change
  • Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred
