About the role
- Responsible for performing a patient safety assessment prior to and during the MRI /CT procedure, performing an age-specific patient assessment, preparing the room and the patient for the procedure.
- Provides education and communicates with the patient, family and other healthcare workers.
- Contributes to the efficient operation of the department, promotes the philosophy and ensures the quality and continuity of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of imaging procedures, evaluates the quality of exam and performs image management.
- Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Current State of Montana License for Radiologic Technology required.
Nice to have
- Bachelor of Science degree is preferred, but not required.
- ARRT and/or MRI certification preferred.
