About the role
- Under limited supervision, underwrite new and renewal Cyber and Tech E&O business with accountability for profitable growth, broker engagement, and disciplined portfolio management.
- The Senior Underwriter serves as a trusted resource and advisor to brokers and clients by combining sound underwriting judgment with a clear understanding of the evolving cyber threat landscape.
Responsibilities
- Develop work plans, establish timelines, and set goals for assigned work.
- Maintain responsiveness on submissions, renewals, referrals, endorsements, and broker inquiries within established service standards.
- Partner with brokers to understand evolving cyber exposures and articulate TMHCC's appetite, differentiators, risk management and service expectations.
- Drive improvement in existing business processes.
- Perform work thoroughly in a cost-efficient manner and at a high productivity level.
Requirements
- Communicate and provide instruction and information to Administrative Supervisor and/or Underwriting Assistants, as required, for issuing policies and endorsements.
