About the role
- As our Mechanical Designer- you will report to the Director Operations.
- You will provide detailed mechanical drawings and bill of materials for customer approval and shop fabrication; and demonstrating a strong aptitude for engineering work.

Responsibilities
- JBT Marel uses technology-assisted tools, including artificial intelligence (AI), to support the review of applications.
Nice to have
- Contacts the customer and/or project manager with questions related to drawings.
- Completes a bill of materials for the project.
- Monitors and initiates additional work authorizations for appropriate drawing changes.
- Identifies BPE (Pharmaceutical grade) requirements along with sanitary and good manufacturing practices.
- 1-3+ years of experience with weld symbols and weld processes.
- Meet or exceed project deadlines and budgets.
- Participates in the Team Improvement Board (TIB) process by attending daily huddles.
- Participates in improvement projects.
