About the role

  • The Research Technician will report to the Director of Dr.
  • The Research Technician will be responsible for performing test procedures which will include DNA/RNA extractions and real-time PCR to collect and analyze results for the presence or absence of pathogens from specimens.

Requirements

  • The person may be required to complete a field collection of samples.
  • To be successful in this position must be self-motivated, organized, independent, eager to learn a breadth of techniques, and have strong critical thinking and communication skills.
