About the role

  • Job Details: Monday - Friday- No WEEKENDS!
  • The Team member in this role has a primary responsibility to prepare and cook food for the Tyson Café.
  • Food preparation will be accomplished using daily prep lists, recipes, menus and direction from managers, food prep duties include assessing food quality, washing, cutting, and seasoning foods.

Requirements

  • Ability to push, pull, lift or carry up to 50lbs, bend
  • Ability to withstand routine and repetitive work for the duration of shift.
  • Ability to tolerate hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time, while performing job functions.
  • Ability to work safely and unrestricted with ware-washing and kitchen equipment.

Nice to have

  • Preferred candidates will be able to prove a minimum of 12 months of professional work experience in a foodservice or hospitality role

Skills

  • Strong time management and organizational skills; Knowledge of basic culinary and kitchen terminology.
  • SERV safe or food handlers' certification is preferred, but NOT required.
  • Rehire Consideration: Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.
  • 180 days (6 months) waiting period.
  • Relocation Assistance Eligible: No Work Shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America) Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
