About the role

  • This position is onsite in Chicago, IL.
  • A Cook County Tax Data Examiner, with respect to the Property Insight Title Tax Team, will be responsible for performing examination of records from the Cook County Tax Collector/Treasurer, Clerk, and Assessor data using the County websites and records at the County Office in Cook County IL.

Requirements

  • Experience in County Property Taxes.
  • The ability to work in a County Office Professional setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge and ability to write professional emails.
  • Analyze historical and go forward data for input into a Tax Order system that tracks the various pieces required to be completed before the order can be released.

Nice to have

  • Title insurance industry knowledge, specifically with tax data is a plus.
