About the role
- The Food Pantry Coordinator provides daily oversight of the NHCC Emergency Food Pantry and is also responsible for building community relationships to assist with obtaining donations and funding sources. Direct contact with pantry clients is required, so experience working with underserved populations is preferred. Responsibilities: · Adhering to agency
- policy, as well as policies from the town, county or other organizations whom provide support, donations, funding, etc. · Identify and establish new sources of food and/or financial donations with local resources and businesses; maintain current relationships with donors · Pick-up, shop, store and organize food from donation sources, stores, etc. ·
Nice to have
- Direct contact with pantry clients is required, so experience working with underserved populations is preferred.
- One (1) year of human services experience providing direct service to clients diagnosed with several mental illness,
