About the role
- Youth Villages' Treatment Foster Care program provides evidence-based, intensive in-home treatment for youth in foster care while supporting foster parents and advocating for the best interests of each youth.
- The program serves children and adolescents (ages 0 to18) who have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect, and may have behavioral and mental health needs.
- Our parent-centered treatment model promotes positive change across home, school, community, and peer environments - all while working diligently to achieve family reunification whenever possible or finding permanency through adoption.
Responsibilities
- Builds positive relationships with strategic partners in the community
- Establishes relationships with key community providers and maintains those relationships through continued communication
- Develops and executes foster parent recruiting plans and strategies
- Finds networking opportunities and builds partnerships for the Foster Care program
- Maintains regular communication with potential foster parents who have expressed interest in becoming a foster parent through a variety of communication channels such as phone, email, text, and in-person meetings
- Participates in community organizations which support the promotion of foster parenting
- Maintains data on foster parent inquiries, trends, demographics, and other data points as needed to improve recruitment strategies
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (required)
- Experience in marketing, recruiting, community outreach, or community development (required)
- Experience with public speaking and presenting (required)
- Degrees given preference include: marketing, communication, strategic planning, business, or social services
- Experience in developing and managing leads in a CRM (plus)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
