About the role
- Director, Biotherapeutic Sciences provides full site leadership for Inotiv's Biotherapeutics laboratory at Rockville (RKV), holding complete operational and profit-and-loss accountability for the site.
- Working in deliberate partnership with the Senior Scientific Advisor, who provides scientific thought leadership and key-opinion-leader representation, the Sr.
- This is an on-site position based at our Rockville, MD, facility.

- Holds full P&L responsibility and final operational decision authority for the RKV Biotherapeutics site, including budget preparation, execution, and financial performance.
- ensures employees receive effective coaching, mentoring, and development.
- Serves as the accountable owner for proposals and client presentations, drawing on the Senior Scientific Advisor for scientific positioning and technical content.
- Ensures facilities meet scientific, regulatory, and inspection-agency requirements
- Proven operational and P&L leadership in a CRO or research laboratory environment, with demonstrated ability to turn around and grow a multidisciplinary site.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with internal and external audiences, including the ability to convey complex information clearly.

- Exceptional partnering and collaboration skills with stakeholders at all levels, in person and remotely.
Compensation
- $167,000 - $227,000, adjusted according to the level of the role and the candidate's relevant experience and/or education.
- Salary will be commensurate with experience and responsibilities.
