Responsibilities

  • The CVO Specialist will be responsible for providing privileging or licensing support to client, facilities, boards, groups and clinicians.
  • The CVO Specialist will validate and review the professional qualifications of a clinician to practice medicine in their field to meet NCQA and LT standards and the client's business model.

Requirements

  • Speaking, reading, writing, ability to use a telephone and computer
  • Ability to exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally
  • Ability to interpret various instructions
  • Ability to deal with a variety of variables under only limited standardization

Nice to have

  • Processes privileging or licensing files according to the client's and/or board's standards
  • Updates database for every file with the most current information
  • Acts as a liaison between the client, clinician, and/or appropriate state board
  • Resolves or appropriately escalates inquiries and concerns
  • May work on special projects or other duties as assigned
  • May communicate with clinicians, clients, and state boards
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
