Current work includes containerizing services, upgrading.NET runtimes, strengthening CI/CD and observability, and adopting Infrastructure as Code-alongside pragmatic AI-assisted development and intelligent QA.
This role focuses on hands-on execution within a single team or service area, supporting production systems and contributing to continuous operational improvement.

Apply mitigations and deliver permanent fixes in collaboration with development teams
Maintain and update runbooks, playbooks, FAQs, and troubleshooting documentation
Perform KTLO activities such as scheduled maintenance, patching, backups and restores, database indexing, archiving jobs, and capacity checks
Support releases, hotfixes, and patches, including deployment validation and production smoke testing
You'll join a small, critical, high-impact support team (engineers, product owner, engineering manager) focused on keeping customer-facing systems reliable and resolving real production issues.
The engineer collaborates closely with Product, Development, Platform, and Database teams to help ensure service availability, meet SLAs, and support safe change delivery.

Hands-on experience with.NET and C#, including modern.NET runtimes, for production support and fixes
Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM
Working knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, and RESTful APIs, with the ability to debug issues across the stack
Comfort working in production environments and responding to incidents
Participate in an on-call rotation, following established escalation paths and providing after-hours support as required

Experience supporting SQL Server-based applications, including basic performance analysis and operational tasks (AWS RDS experience a plus)

The Software Engineer - Support is an individual contributor responsible for maintaining the reliability, stability, and operational health of CMS services.
Support the reliability and operational health of current EC2-hosted services while assisting with incident response, monitoring, and KTLO operations during the migration to containerized deployments
Monitor application and infrastructure health using tools such as New Relic, SolarWinds DPA, CloudWatch, or Datadog
