About the role
- Operators will work 8 hour shifts to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
- Actual pay will depend on factors such as internal equity, skills, experience, education, certifications, and location.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine plant rounds and report abnormalities.
- Maintain compliance with environmental and safety standards.
- Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to safety policies.
- Ameresco is hiring Boiler Operators for the weekend day shift to support a high-pressure steam plant at the Naval Research Laboratory.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years mechanical/electrical experience.
- Ability to review confidential US security information.
Nice to have
- 1st or 3rd Class High-Pressure Steam Operator License preferred.
- Experience with high-pressure boiler operation.
- Familiarity with rotating shift schedules.
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- The anticipated hourly range for this role is $42.88-$44.47 per hour (presented in good faith).
