About the role

The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks based on risk, urgency, and business impact, ensuring critical issues are addressed promptly without compromising accuracy or control.
You will be expected to remain calm under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and consistently meet tight deadlines.

Manage the accurate and timely trade capture of a wide range of products, including derivatives across equities, credit, fixed income and FX
Support Portfolio Managers by monitoring risk and position management platforms, investigating discrepancies, and troubleshooting issues as they arise
Prioritize and manage multiple trade related queries throughout the trading day, balancing urgency and risk to ensure critical issues are addressed promptly
Maintain ownership of the end-to-end trade lifecycle, ensuring data integrity and operational controls at each stage
Partner with the wider Operations team to design and implement automation and process improvements, contributing to a scalable operating model
This role works closely with the Portfolio Management and Trading teams, providing timely and accurate support while responding to multiple, often competing, queries throughout the trading day.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in financial markets, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

Minimum 1 year's experience in a financial services environment
Working knowledge of at least one asset class; experience with derivatives and convertible bonds is advantageous.
Corporate actions knowledge desirable
Understanding of the full trade lifecycle and associated controls
Strong Excel skills and experience using Bloomberg Terminal
Interest in, and some hands-on exposure to, coding (preferably Python)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated interest in process improvement
