Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot DSLAM, GPON, MetaSwitch, and other telecommunications equipment.
Support broadband, voice, and hosted PBX services through installation, diagnostics, and repair.
Provide Tier II network support and Tier III voice and internet technical support.
Maintain Central Office equipment and assist with facility upgrades.
Perform network audits and maintain accurate technical documentation.
Support Outside Plant Technicians with escalated troubleshooting.
Participate in an on-call rotation to support voice and data network operations after hours.
NineStar Connect is looking for a Field Engineer to help build, maintain, and support the critical communications infrastructure that keeps our members connected.
As a Field Engineer, you'll configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot broadband and voice network equipment while providing advanced technical support for our communications systems.

Associate degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent technical certifications.
3-5 years of experience in telecommunications, networking, electronic maintenance, or a related technical field.
Experience with TCP/IP networking, VoIP technologies, GPON, DSLAM, Cisco networking, or Central Office equipment.
