About the role
- Job Description: Hoist Installing is the process of installing a hoist to a truck chassis.
- Hoist installation is a multi-function position requiring welding operation, torch operation, grinding, hand tool & power tool operation, truck layout, print reading, and operational testing.
- Hourly Rate: $25.29 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Review the truck chassis with the model of hoist to be mounted and plan out what steps are necessary to complete the installation.
Responsibilities
- Mechanical: Use of hand tools & power tools are necessary to performs hoist installation
Requirements
- Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- This includes modifications to truck chassis for required hoist clearances
Nice to have
- 1-3 months of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Previous mechanical experience preferred.
- Knowledge of electric, hydraulics and pneumatics preferred.
