About the role

  • We're looking for a Project Executive, Power & Energy that will be responsible for establishing and scaling RNGD's Power sector, including power generation, utilities, energy infrastructure, substations, solar, and related mission-critical systems.
  • This role requires a builder's mindset and strong leadership presence to stand up a new sector and guide it into sustained growth.
  • Establish foundational operating systems, performance standards, and cultural expectations.

Responsibilities

  • This role blends strategic growth leadership with hands-on operational oversight to build a high-performing sector from the ground up.
  • The Sector Leader will develop market strategy, lead execution, build teams, and secure anchor clients while ensuring safety, quality, and financial discipline.
  • Develop and execute the growth strategy for the Power sector, including market entry, service offerings, and long-term scalability.
  • Provide hands-on leadership support to project teams during early-stage sector development.
  • Drive disciplined project selection, risk management, and operational controls appropriate for complex power sector project work.
  • Support pursuit strategy, interviews, and contract negotiations for strategic projects.
  • Partner with Marketing and Business Development to strengthen sector brand presence and market visibility.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing power sector leadership and project team.
  • Own sector-level budgeting, forecasting, backlog development, and financial performance.
  • Support estimating strategies, pricing decisions, and commercial structuring for industrial projects.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in power, energy, utility, or EPC construction environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex construction projects and teams, power sector or related preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience owning or influencing P&L performance.
