About the role
- At Banner House, a Host is an integral part of creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our members and guests.
- You will be the first point of contact for members and guests, greeting them with a friendly smile and providing exceptional hospitality from the moment they arrive.
- Your role is vital in setting the tone for the dining experience and ensuring that our guests feel valued and well-cared for throughout their visit.
Responsibilities
- Manage the seating and reservation system efficiently, ensuring accurate seating arrangements and timely table turnovers.
- Provide accurate wait time estimates and maintain an organized list during peak hours.
- Maintain a clean and organized host area, including tidying up tables, managing coat check, and keeping the entrance welcoming and presentable.
- Collaborate effectively with other hosts and team members to ensure seamless transitions between shifts and effective communication.
- Basic computer skills to manage reservation systems and communicate effectively.
Requirements
- A successful Host at Banner House will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Previous experience as a Host or in a customer service role is preferred.
