About the role
- The Field Engineer provides field oversight and inspection for ongoing projects to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications/construction, as well as ensuring compliance with required/prescribed quality standards. This position will require heavy traveling as most of the work will be done out in the field throughout the
- - Partner with the Project Manager to oversee the design and implementation of construction projects
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Project Manager to oversee the design and implementation of construction projects
- Create and inspect drawings and designs for projects.
- Document work flow processes and provide updates on work progress
- Ensure conformance of field work with contract specifications and documents
- Performs inspection of construction activities
- May be tasked with other special duties as assigned by the Project Manager on technical projects (i.e., investigation, analysis, and design) in specific areas of expertise
Requirements
- Must be available for field work occasionally on weekends once construction begins
- Observes construction practices are required for compliance of project/construction operations with federal, state, and local codes, industry standards, company procedures, and contractual requirements
- Helps create and/or gather required documents and information to support the successful completion of relevant project activities
Compensation
- $75k-$95k
