Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the underwriting department to review, quote, issue, and retain business
- Collaborate with BIN's underwriting team to propose renewal pricing quotes
- Perform other underwriting tasks, projects, and initiatives as set forth by the Director of Underwriting
- Maintain strong industry knowledge on the Workers Compensation line of business
- Support the Business Engagement Department as needed, with time spent between Underwriting and Business Engagement fluctuating based on business needs Learn to leverage workers' compensation underwriting expertise to assess risks to underwrite policies.
Requirements
- Ability to work as a team player and collaborate with the underwriting department, Business Operations Manager, and Business Engagement team members
- Positive attitude and willingness to help whenever and wherever needed as business needs arise
