About the role
- This is demonstrated using the nursing process to work collaboratively with the health-care team in planning, directing, providing and evaluating patient care.
- The RN is defined within the department to provide patient care, triage, consultation and referral among team members.
- Use or disclosure shall not exceed the minimum amount of information needed to accomplish an intended purpose.
Responsibilities
- Under the Supervision of the Nursing Supervisor and/or Nurse Manager, the RN provides nursing support to primary and subspecialty providers.
- Performs telephone triage including coordination of care and documentation.
- Access to information is based on a "need to know" and is the minimum necessary to properly perform assigned duties.
Requirements
- Associate's degree of a state accredited Registered Nursing program is required
- NYS current RN licensure is required
- Previous nursing experience in an ambulatory care setting or at least 1 year of nursing experience obtained outside an ambulatory care setting
- Completes organized and quality documentation as required by the department.
Compensation
- $83,200.00 - $128,960.00
