About the role

- This is a full-time position located in our Costa Mesa, CA office.
- DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES In this position, you will: Oversee day-to-day management of multi-disciplinary project teams, with a focus on project delivery, quality, financial performance, and health and safety.
Responsibilities
- Lead large, complex, or high-risk projects with multiple integrated services, and ensure these projects are executed to meet project, client, and regulatory objectives.
- Hold primary responsibility for all aspects of the project lifecycle, including cost estimating and proposal preparation, scheduling, subcontracting, resourcing, project planning, execution, document preparation and review, and financial management.
- Regularly and effectively communicate with clients, partners, subcontractors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Regularly direct, coach, and support staff to ensure high-quality project execution, focusing on developing team skills for professional growth and delivering comprehensive technical reports and deliverables.
- Plan and manage complex field investigation programs, including pre-design data collection and/or pilot testing data collection programs.
- Lead complex technical evaluations and design efforts, including model development, field implementation of bench-scale and field pilot studies, remedial action plans, remedial system installation and O M, permitting, design and contract package development, construction procurement support for environmental projects and be capable of acting as Engineer of Record.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field.
- 12 -16+ years of related environmental consulting work experience, including direct project management experience.
- Broad environmental engineering consulting experience that spans the entire project lifecycle.
Skills
- Master's degree in Environmental/Civil Engineering, Geology, or Hydrogeology.
- Proficient with Microsoft Project.
- Design and construction experience with environmental remediation projects.
- Refinery, Oil Gas, and Brownfields experience.
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and refresher updates desirable.
- The salary range for this position in Costa Mesa, CA $145,000 - $165,000 annually.
- Haley Aldrich reviews salary ranges each quarter to assess competitiveness with the market.
