About the role

  • This is a full-time position located in our Costa Mesa, CA office.
  • DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES In this position, you will: Oversee day-to-day management of multi-disciplinary project teams, with a focus on project delivery, quality, financial performance, and health and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large, complex, or high-risk projects with multiple integrated services, and ensure these projects are executed to meet project, client, and regulatory objectives.
  • Hold primary responsibility for all aspects of the project lifecycle, including cost estimating and proposal preparation, scheduling, subcontracting, resourcing, project planning, execution, document preparation and review, and financial management.
  • Regularly and effectively communicate with clients, partners, subcontractors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
  • Regularly direct, coach, and support staff to ensure high-quality project execution, focusing on developing team skills for professional growth and delivering comprehensive technical reports and deliverables.
  • Plan and manage complex field investigation programs, including pre-design data collection and/or pilot testing data collection programs.
  • Lead complex technical evaluations and design efforts, including model development, field implementation of bench-scale and field pilot studies, remedial action plans, remedial system installation and O M, permitting, design and contract package development, construction procurement support for environmental projects and be capable of acting as Engineer of Record.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field.
  • 12 -16+ years of related environmental consulting work experience, including direct project management experience.
  • Broad environmental engineering consulting experience that spans the entire project lifecycle.

Skills

  • Master's degree in Environmental/Civil Engineering, Geology, or Hydrogeology.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project.
  • Design and construction experience with environmental remediation projects.
  • Refinery, Oil Gas, and Brownfields experience.
  • OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and refresher updates desirable.
  • The salary range for this position in Costa Mesa, CA $145,000 - $165,000 annually.
  • Haley Aldrich reviews salary ranges each quarter to assess competitiveness with the market.

  • $12k-$16k
