About the role

  • We are seeking a part-time junior sys-admin to join ATLARGE.
  • As a junior sys-admin, you will be responsible for supporting our software development team in all aspects of infrastructure management for the successful development, testing, and implementation of our products.
  • Preference will be given to MT & PT US time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Leading sports and entertainment organizations partner with us to drive their customer experience and produce results.

Requirements

  • Experience with the following technologies is essential to successfully executing this role:
  • Linux - Required
  • Setup php / nginx / mysql
  • Rsync and copying/moving data using the CLI
  • File management processes using the CLI
  • Bash scripting, backup scripts for example.
  • SSH, basic understanding
  • Mounting volumes, EFS and S3
  • Understanding of instance types and how to change them
  • Auto Scaling / load balancers principles
  • ECS container deployment and tasks
  • S3 files storage and static hosting via Cloudfront

Nice to have

  • Certifications: AWS, Linux, Security
  • Experience managing, and deploying the following from repo:

Skills

  • AWS, Linux, Security
  • Deployment tech.
  • IAC (Terraform, Cloudformation), Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Azure / Google Cloud experience
  • CMSs: Drupal, Wordpress
  • Custom code and php frameworks like Symfony
  • Flexibility to address any emergencies out of set hours
