Responsibilities

Skills
- Training and background at the post-master's level in primary care behavioral health
- Ability to effectively respond to crisis situations
- Knowledge of or capacity to learn about the local behavioral health treatment system and community resources
- Professional demeanor and interpersonal communication skills

Compensation
- $41.45 - $50.97 Hourly

- As the Clinical Service Specialist, you are a part of the primary care treatment team that identifies, triages, and manages patients with medical and behavioral health needs within the primary care setting.
- Provide brief (10-20 min), solution focused behavioral interventions with active development of Behavioral Change planning for patients referred to Behavioral Health via Medical Providers.
- Provide follow up appointments to deliver psychotherapeutic care related to the mind/body connection with medical problem presentations.
- Provide biopsychosocial assessment and evidenced-based psychotherapy interventions to patients across the lifespan with medical conditions to support their management of recovery from these conditions.
- Work with clients to set up a care plan and how to continue the plan even as visits may or may not continue with the Behavioral Health Consultant.
