About the role
- The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring inventory integrity, and supporting warehouse and production operations through effective inventory management practices.
- This position works closely with Warehouse, Production, Logistics, Purchasing, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions, reconciliation, reporting, and compliance with company procedures.
- Process inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, adjustments, returns, and shipments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy within ERP/WMS systems.
- Conduct cycle counts and support physical inventory activities.
- Support system troubleshooting and resolve inventory-related transaction errors.
- Collaborate with Logistics and Warehouse teams regarding material movement and inventory transactions.
- Partner with Purchasing and Supply Chain teams to resolve receiving and inventory discrepancies.
- Support Finance during inventory reconciliation and month-end closing activities.
- Support management with inventory performance metrics and operational reporting.
- Compliance and Audit Support
Requirements
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with ERP and WMS systems.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Minimum 3 years of inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Ability to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

- Experience
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Nice to have
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Battery manufacturing, automotive, or high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.
