About the role
- Atomic Vancouver is looking for CG Modelers to join our team on one of our new CG projects.
- Atomic Cartoons, a Blue Ant Studios company, is an award-winning, internationally renowned animation studio with teams in Vancouver, Ottawa, and Los Angeles.
- Atomic is B Corp certified and a BC Benefit Company.
Responsibilities
- Create show-style models from scratch that meet all technical and aesthetic standards for the project.
- Be able to take constructive feedback from supervisors and directors and deliver those changes in an efficient and timely manner.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to create complex and accurate models from 2D reference or scan data.
- Maintains or exceeds a consistent level of productivity while meeting deadlines and producing high-quality work.
Requirements
- Background in visual arts/design with a strong understanding of form, geometry, and movement.
- Knowledge of other skills such as texturing/ shading, rendering or rigging is an asset.
- Linux operating system experience is an asset.
- Experience with Python scripting is an asset.
- Experience using Shotgun for production tracking, submitting and publishing is an asset.
- Applicants must have resided within BC as of December 31, 2025 and be able to provide the appropriate supporting documents.

- Current BC Residents are preferred for this role.
Compensation
- This expected pay range is for British Columbia and is not applicable to locations outside of the province of British Columbia.
- Wage ranges are based on a weekly rate.
