Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the Raw Materials team to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant warehouse operations.
- Oversee the receiving, storage, issuance, and inventory control of all raw materials to support production requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with Procurement and PMC to prevent shortages while maintaining target inventory levels.
- Manage daily material staging and issuance to production while ensuring First Expired, First Out (FEFO) and inventory control standards are followed.
- Oversee cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities to maintain high inventory accuracy.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Partner with Quality to manage material holds, nonconforming inventory, and disposition activities while minimizing operational impact.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for raw material handling, storage, and inventory management.
- Monitor warehouse performance metrics, including inventory accuracy, material availability, receiving performance, and production support.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory control, warehouse efficiency, and process standardization.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of warehouse or inventory management experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, MES, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to safely operate or become certified on powered industrial equipment as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, material flow, and production support.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, MES, and Microsoft Office Suite. Oracle experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational improvements.
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers and external warehouse operations is preferred.
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform warehouse activities for extended periods.
