About the role

  • This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the Police Operations Division at DCF, in Washington, DC.
  • As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for the enforcement of the Federal, State and local laws relating to the protection of human life, including the preservation of the civil rights of individuals.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 Years of Age.
  • For the TR-06, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the TR-05/GS-4 grade level in the Federal service.
  • Experience that provided knowledge of a body of basic laws and regulations, law enforcement operations, practices and techniques and involved responsibility for maintaining order and protecting life and property.
  • or in other work that provided the required knowledge and skills.
  • A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree in Police Science or a comparable degree program related to the work of the position.
