About the role
- IPEX is seeking an Estimator person to join our IPEX Team.
- The incumbent's main responsibility will be to ensure accurate information is relayed in a timely manner between both parties.
Responsibilities
- Use AutoCAD or AUTODESK INVENTOR to design and update both mechanical and electrical drawings via measurements of physical parts and machines
- Maintain and organize standard products costs and drawings
- Update, maintain and develop spreadsheets
- Provide project management support for large nonstandard products
- Work closely with a team of professionals to develop and improve production methods
- Manage documents for all quotes generated
Requirements
- Follow up on quoted projects for competitive feedback-revise quotes as required.
- Quote industrial and municipal products, quote specifiable products as required
- Required Skills/Qualifications
- A degree or diploma required
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel
