Responsibilities

  • Own the candidate experience end-to-end: From first touch through close, you'll build trust, understand motivations, and ensure a high-signal, high-quality process for every candidate.
  • Build on a high-performing recruiting process: You'll come alongside a strong existing system and help evolve it - bringing new ideas and using data, AI, and experimentation to refine how we evaluate and close talent.
  • Build agents that write, test, and deploy their own software packages?

Requirements

  • Track record of hiring top talent: You've successfully hired founding engineers or staff/principal engineers in early-stage or high-growth environments.
  • Strong judgment and empathy: You know what great looks like and build trust quickly with candidates and hiring teams.
  • Data-driven and experimental mindset: You use data and experimentation to improve how you source, evaluate, and close candidates.
  • Technical fluency: You understand modern engineering stacks and can credibly assess how candidates map to team needs.
  • High ownership with a bias for leverage: You operate with precision and follow-through, and look for ways to scale your impact through tooling, automation, and AI.
  • Overdeliver: We are writing the playbook on how to create enterprise value with LLMs, and building our reputation as the world's best applied AI team.
  • Overuse AI: We obsessively explore and experiment with Claude to push the frontier of applied AI and share what we learn with our teammates.
