About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Foreman Pipe/Earthwork/Roadway to oversee daily operations on construction sites.
Specifically, this position will require previous knowledge working on storm/sanitary/sewer pipe, shoring for deep excavations, dewatering, concrete roadway rehabilitation, on-road/off-road excavations, fine grading and subbase operations, etc.
Supervise and coordinate activities of construction workers and subcontractors.

Work with the Superintendent to schedule work assignments and manage workflow to optimize productivity.
Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and labor hours.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to facilitate project goals.

Ability to wear and work in personnel protective equipment including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, ankle-supporting safety-toed work boots and a safety vest.
Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
Must be able to bend, stoop, and ascend/descend to reach materials or enter heavy equipment.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.

High school diploma or equivalent
additional certifications in construction management or related fields preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry
experience in a supervisory role preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in construction management or related fields preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
Ability to utilize GPS survey equipment, pipe grade level and auto level are a plus.
Maintenance and protection of traffic experience and certifications are a plus.
