Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Lead the development and execution of media relations initiatives, event activations, and campaign deliverables.
- Manage account budgets, timelines, and reporting to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Build and maintain strong media relationships, while identifying opportunities for clients across traditional, digital, and social channels.
- Step in to support tactical execution as needed, maintaining a proactive, hands-on approach.
- This role balances hands-on execution with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high-quality work that supports client success and contributes to agency growth.
- Role Expectations The Account Manager is expected to manage a portfolio of accounts with professionalism, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.
- This includes leading day-to-day client interactions, building and executing PR and social media strategies, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements
- 6-7 years of experience in a public relations agency environment.
- Post-secondary education in public relations, journalism, communications, or a related field.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful PR strategies at both local and national levels.
- Strong client relationship management skills with experience handling multiple accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior team members.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and solutions-oriented with strong project management skills.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
