Powered by our data platform, Character Bio is currently advancing two programs in Dry Age-related Macular Degeneration with additional programs in earlier stages of discovery research.
Character Biosciences is seeking a dedicated Temporary Patient Engagement Coordinator to join our research team for a one-year assignment, with the potential for an extension.
This is a Remote role based on the east coast.

Maintain detailed, accurate, and thorough documentation of patient interactions, ensuring compliance with research protocols and internal processes.
We also maintain a multi-target drug discovery collaboration with Bausch + Lomb to develop innovative precision medicines for AMD.

0-2 years of experience within clinical research operations Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a patient-friendly manner.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
Tech-savvy with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools and systems.
Skills and Qualifications: 0-2 years of experience within clinical research operations Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a patient-friendly manner.

Experience working with elderly and ethnically diverse populations is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, and Adobe.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate thoughtfully and effectively with patients.
Work Authorization Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

The hourly pay range for this full-time position is $26/hr - $30/hr + benefits This range represents the expected base compensation for this role and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, and level.
