Position Overview Woolpert is hiring an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic Mechanical Engineering team in South Florida.

Lead the design and development of mechanical HVAC and plumbing systems from concept through construction documentation and supporting construction administration.
Perform technical review and QA/QC reviews to ensure the delivery of code-compliant, and high-quality engineering deliverables
Develop and modify models, plans, details, and drawings of mechanical and plumbing engineering systems and components according to established standards and modeling techniques.
Support career development and technical skill advancement of team members.
Mentorship programs where leaders and senior engineers guide and support junior staff, providing invaluable insights and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.

BA/BS or MA/MS in related field and 10 or more years related experience.
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) certification required.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience leading engineering projects.
Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC controls, including development of control diagrams, sequences of operation, and control narratives.
Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Expert verbal and written communication abilities for both internal and external relationships.
Experience with discipline related software applications and calculation tools.
Proficient in use of MS Teams, OneDrive/SharePoint, and MS Office suite.
