About the role

  • Monarch Quantum is seeking a skilled and driven Project Engineer 3 specializing in Photonic Modules to join our innovative team.
  • You will serve as the key interface between engineering teams, manufacturing, suppliers, and management, coordinating resources and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track project progress, generate status reports, and communicate updates to management and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate photonic module projects including design, development, prototyping, and transfer to production.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets and ensure milestones are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including optical, mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Identify technical risks and work proactively with stakeholders to address challenges and implement solutions.
  • Manage supplier relationships and coordinate procurement of components critical to photonic modules.
  • Facilitate design reviews, technical discussions, and problem-solving sessions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project execution and module performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • In this role, you will manage and drive photonic module development projects from concept through production, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with technical and business goals.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
  • Strong understanding of photonic module technologies, including integration of optical, mechanical, and electrical components.
  • Experience with risk assessment and mitigation in project environments.

Compensation

  • The expected annual salary range for this position is $85,000-$165,000.
