Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive electrical, mechanical, and environmental test plans to ensure our hardware thrives in the wild
- Drive continuous improvement activities for Miovision's Quality Management System
- Support manufacturing team in resolving quality issues on the production line and driving continuous improvement projects
- Implement robust quality control processes (like ESS and burn-in testing) to isolate latent defects found in manufacturing before our products ever reach a city intersection
- Partner with suppliers and operations teams to conduct rigorous First Article Inspections (FAI) and guarantee top-tier component reliability
- Work closely with Operations and Manufacturing to perform quality analysis on third party parts and triage

Requirements
- You have a proven track record of leading hands-on engineering or quality initiatives, taking physical products from early prototype testing through to full-scale production.
- You have practical experience implementing improvements to strengthen Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015).
- You possess a technical degree or diploma paired with a solid understanding of electrical systems, mechanical assemblies, or both.
- You're an expert at root-cause analysis, electronic debugging, and the sustainability processes required to keep hardware stable throughout its entire lifecycle.
- Mastery of Hardware Quality: You have a proven track record of leading hands-on engineering or quality initiatives, taking physical products from early prototype testing through to full-scale production.
- System Expert: You have practical experience implementing improvements to strengthen Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015).
- Diagnostic Intuition: You're an expert at root-cause analysis, electronic debugging, and the sustainability processes required to keep hardware stable throughout its entire lifecycle.
