About the role
- We're seeking energetic individuals with a keen eye for detail and a positive attitude.
- The successful candidate will focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement while operating extrusion equipment used to produce PVC pipe.
- This position plays an important role in helping the plant achieve its safety, quality, production, and efficiency goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections using tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
- Notify Supervisors and Lead Hands of quality concerns, equipment issues, or unusual operating conditions.
- Package finished pipe products according to specifications and document production accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of measurement systems and measuring devices.
- Experience using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Identify, transfer, and load production materials as required.
Nice to have
- Previous manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
Skills
- Frequent use of hand tools and measuring devices.
