About the role

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Special Education tutor to work one-on-one with a nonverbal student with multiple disabilities who communicates primarily through facial expressions, eye gaze, and individualized behavioral cues.
  • The student has complex learning and communication needs and requires a tutor who is highly observant, patient, and skilled in interpreting nontraditional forms of communication.
  • Experience using manipulatives and multi-sensory learning strategies is essential, particularly for functional academic tasks.
