About the role

  • As a Manager of SAP BASIS and Security at Penumbra, you will play a critical role in deploying capabilities to meet the company's near and long term goals.
  • You will oversee the SAP technical landscape within a regulated medical device environment.
  • You will be the go-to expert for ensuring system stability, performance, and seamless integration across SAP and non-SAP platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain advanced security models (Single, Composite, Derived) within S/4HANA, incorporating Fiori Catalog/Group security.
  • Design and implement mitigation controls where business process requirements override standard risk rules.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of SAP BASIS experience is required

Skills

  • Oversee system performance, availability, and scalability across development, QA, and production environments.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies are in place.
