About the role

The BI Consultant plays a critical role in managing reporting tasks, analyzing data for meaningful trends, and consults with clients on efficient use of various BI tools.
Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location.

Own end-to-end delivery of in-scope reporting solutions across a variety of NIQ data sources (RMS, CPS, Omni).
Independently manage reporting tasks and analyze data to understand trends and drive decision making.
Independently identifies and nurtures leads for BI and NIQ solutions, performing needs assessments, handling objections and creating tailored proposals.
Optimize and enhance reporting solutions and collaborate with leadership on new BI product and service development.
Consult directly with clients and stakeholders on optimal use of BI tools and techniques to create impactful reporting.
Work closely with BI and other cross-functional colleagues and leadership to assist in day-to-day BI customer support needs, deployment activities and transformation initiatives as assigned.
Independently manage assigned projects.
Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and projects independently.
Builds and maintains positive and collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues - up, down, and across.
These tools are intended to improve efficiency and support fair and consistent evaluation based on job-related criteria.

Candidates must be physically located within the US.
Proficiency in at least one of the following data visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, Micro Strategy or similar.

Experience working with AI Productivity tools (Copilot, Chat, Claude, etc.)
Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proven track record of successfully delivering innovative reporting solutions.
Intellectually curious and strong desire to learn, understand, and apply BI tools and techniques to a variety of projects.
Familiarity with applying deductive reasoning, understanding hierarchical relationships and identifying gaps in logic.
Previous experience working with FMCG Retailers or Manufacturers is a plus.
Past experience working with offshore resources a huge plus.

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of $69,800 - $81,000.
