The technician actively identifies and addresses safety, health, and environmental concerns while ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, corporate, and facility regulations.

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical equipment and wiring to ensure reliable operations.
Troubleshoot and repair BMS and PLC systems to optimize plant operations.
Carry out maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment and perform basic site tasks.
Keep work areas organized and maintain inventory of spare parts and materials.
Work effectively in teams, acquire technical skills, and develop knowledge of production processes and policies.

This includes performing emergency repairs, calibration, installation, and preventive maintenance to support optimal equipment performance.

High School Diploma or GED required
Working knowledge of electrical systems, PLC's, BMS's, motors, P&IDs, and wiring schematics
Ability to work overtime and participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays

Minimum of 3-5 years as a Maintenance I&E Technician in a chemical plant or refinery or industrial setting required (3-5 years preferred)
Associate Degree in Applied Sciences or equivalent apprenticeship preferred
Strong organizational, computer, and communication skills (SAP preferred)
