About the role

The Resident Care Manager (RCM) is responsible to the Director of Care (DOC) for the management of the Resident Care Services within the long-term care residence (RCM-RN or RCM-LPN).
The RCM promotes collaborative team practice and encourages practices that respect resident, family and staff rights, individuality, and diversity.
Role models AgeCare Mission, Vision and Guiding Principles.

Must be fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
Knowledge of applicable provincial legislation and standards:
Computer and Technology proficiency including experience and knowledge of Point Click Care and other software applications.

Continuing Care legislation and Continuing Care Health Service Standards.
Ontario: Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021, Employment Standards Act, 2000, Occupational Health and Safety Act, infection prevention and control (IPAC), and Accreditation Canada standards.

The Opportunity:
