About the role
- The Resident Care Manager (RCM) is responsible to the Director of Care (DOC) for the management of the Resident Care Services within the long-term care residence (RCM-RN or RCM-LPN).
- The RCM promotes collaborative team practice and encourages practices that respect resident, family and staff rights, individuality, and diversity.
- Role models AgeCare Mission, Vision and Guiding Principles.
Responsibilities
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
Requirements
- Must be fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of applicable provincial legislation and standards:
- Computer and Technology proficiency including experience and knowledge of Point Click Care and other software applications.
Nice to have
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) preferred
Skills
- At least 5 years' progressive clinical nursing experience.
Compensation
- $74,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
- Salary placement based on qualifications and experience.
