About the role
- Your remit will span private capital formation, sovereign and strategic institutional relationships, and the investor relations function associated with Xsolla's publicly listed activities.
- You will establish the processes, materials, and team that allow Xsolla to engage the capital markets with the professionalism of a far larger institution, while retaining the speed and ambition of a company in a high growth sector.
Responsibilities
- Own the investor pipeline. Develop and manage the investor pipeline, from initial sourcing and qualification through diligence, negotiation, and close.
- Read the market. Maintain a current and accurate view of market conditions, investor appetite, and comparable transactions to inform timing and structure.
- Gulf sovereign wealth funds alone manage on the order of 5 trillion dollars in assets and have become active, thematic investors in technology and platform businesses, with leading funds such as QIA, PIF, ADIA, Mubadala, and ADQ frequently writing large strategic commitments.
- Originate relationships. Build and steward relationships with sovereign wealth funds, strategic corporates, family offices, and large institutional allocators, with particular emphasis on the Gulf, Asia, and North America.
- Build the IR function. Establish and run the investor relations function for Xsolla's publicly listed activities, including Xsolla SPAC 1, in line with the standards expected of a public company.
- Lead capital raises.

Skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, with the ability to turn a complex strategy into a clear and persuasive investment narrative.
- Significant relationship capital and the gravitas to engage principals, investment committees, and senior executives.
- Sound judgment, discretion, and the highest standards of integrity when handling sensitive and material information.
- Education and Credentials
- A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field is required.
- An advanced degree such as an MBA, or a professional credential such as the CFA, is strongly preferred.
- Relevant securities licenses, or the willingness to obtain them, are viewed favorably.
